  • Two cars were broken into Saturday at the Huntington Jeep/Chrysler Inc. dealership on Jericho Turnpike and parts and the navigation systems were stolen.

  • A pocketbook with credit cards was stolen Sunday from a car on Buttonwood Drive.

  • A man on Woodhull Road told police Saturday that a group of youths surrounded his car and threw rocks at it.

  • A Mercedes SUV was entered Sunday on Main Street and a pocketbook was stolen.

  • A burglary was discovered Friday at a house on Wharton Place. Police said entry was made through a back window. The homeowner told police her pocketbook was stolen from a table.

  • A woman who had three children with her was caught shoplifting at the Kohl's store on Walt Whitman Road Saturday.
