A resident on Derby Avenue said her house was ransacked during a burglary Aug. 13.

A barbecue grill was stolen Aug. 12 from a backyard of Chapin Place.
The stereo was stolen Aug. 14 from a car at the Long Island Rail Road station.
Huntington Station
A 2000 Ford Expedition was reported stolen Aug. 10 from East 13th Street.
A dump truck was stolen Aug. 11 on New York Avenue.
A burglary was discovered Aug. 13 at a residence on Hartland Avenue.
South Huntington
A car window was broken and items were stolen Aug. 12 on Iceland Drive.
