Jewelry and money were taken during a burglary Thursday at a house on Carman Road. Entry was made through a basement window.
Greenlawn
A resident on Leigh Street said money was taken during a burglary at his house Thursday. Police said the back door was broken to gain entry.
Huntington
A Huntington Station man was arrested Friday and charged with the burglary of Giardino's Pizza and Pasta restaurant on Park Avenue that took place May 14. The police report said money was taken.
A burglary was discovered Friday at the Ming Star Kitchen restaurant on Park Avenue. The front door was broken to gain entry and the cash register was taken.
A burglary was discovered Friday at the Saetac Dry Cleaners on Wall Street. The police report said the cash register was taken and entry was made by breaking a front window.
Second Precinct police arrested a Huntington Station man Friday and charged him with the burglary of the Southdown Deli on Wall Street in Huntington that took place April 29. Their report said the burglary was discovered by a Newsday driver who was delivering papers to the store.

The owner of the Fabric Depot store on New York Avenue said vandals broke his windows Thursday.
Money was taken during a burglary Friday at the Critic's Choice Deli on East Jericho Turnpike. The police report said a front window was broken to gain entry.
